But, as easy as social media can be, many people still do not know how to use it correctly. One of the biggest questions that people ask is, “What platform should I be using and why?” I sat down with Coach Myron to discuss which social media platform is best for different needs.


Which platform is best to drive sales and why?

Each platform has its specific uses. Best use case scenario is that you start with one, get it up and running, and then move on to the next one. You want to spread your message to everyone everywhere. You need to be present, so when they are ready to hear your message, it will be there for them to hear it!


Which platform should I use to gain a following and why?

What platform do you enjoy using? What platform can you incorporate into your daily life so that you can actually interact with the community? See, that’s the key, interacting with the community on whatever platform you choose. Comment, like, post, and be authentic. Stop trying to sell everyone every time you put out information. You see a great post, great! Like it! Give the reason for liking it. Share your journey and your story. This isn’t the time for a call to action. This is a time to build the relationship!


Which platform will help me make business connections and why?

This isn’t something that is platform specific, but more so what your target demographic is. You can target business on Facebook and LinkedIn. On Facebook, target a specific job title, think HR or Vice President. Who are you trying to target in the company that you want to make the decision? At the same time, understand that while yes, the CEO/Owner/Founder will be the person to actually authorize the spending of money, it is usually someone else in the office that pulls together all the information and decides which company or PERSON to actually use!
