There are many different opinions on what we should be eating and what is best for us and our bodies but recently after finally finding out what my blood type is, I started doing some research on it and I stumbled across a whole new world of what’s good for me and how I should be eating, all catered to my blood type.
At first, I was doubtful if this was true but once I got really involved in the research, I realized that it is spot on. Certain foods that I always battled with and never knew why, are actually really bad for my blood type and vice versa, foods that I eat and get energy from and feel great eating are good for my blood type. It is so interesting and has completely changed my life that I wanted to share it with all of you.
Now to understand this, you need to know your blood type, which I hope everyone does!
Type O: These are the “hunters” and type o’s should have a high-protein diet consisting of mainly lean red meat, moderate amounts of poultry, plenty fish and vegetables. Type o’s should stay away from wheat and grain, it is terrible for their bodies.
Type A: Should be vegetarians, a meat-free diet is best for them. Their diet should mainly consist of fruits and vegetables. Whole grains are good for type a’s. They should try keep everything organic and fresh because people with type A blood usually have a very sensitive immune system.
Type B: Some of the worst foods to eat for type B’s is corn, wheat, buckwheat, lentils, tomatoes and peanuts. Poultry can also be problematic. The best things to eat are green vegetables, and low-fat dairy.
Type AB: Foods to focus on include seafood, dairy, and green vegetables. Type AB’s often have low stomach acid and should avoid caffeine and most importantly, alcohol.
These are just simple summaries of what each blood should and shouldn’t eat but if what I have said and shared makes sense to you or has interested you, then finding out more on your blood type is a good idea.
